Dodgy anti-spyware firms to cough up $2m

Spyware has long been a problem for computers with the likes of CoolWebSearch, 180 Solutions and many more attacking your privacy from all sides.

As a result, companies have had to adopt more subdued methods to implant their "tracking devices" on computers. The most notable of these is to claim to be an "anti-spyware" company while webusers think nothing of downloading the spyware to their computers.
